TAW @ WAR

TAW@WAR III: Scorched Horizon
This tournament has started on Sunday the 19th of June and lasted till Sunday the 24th July.
Before the game started the TAW@WAR III team was busy with decisions on which game we would play and how we would play it. There were a few things that were required for a game. There cannot be any regional restrictions. The game must be run on PC, Mac and Linux and have low specifications.
As you can see a lot of games cannot be part of this tournament setup.

The game we decided to play was Scorched 3D. A really easy game to learn how to play and doesn’t have huge requirements for a computer. We have played the tournament for nearly 6 weeks and played a for 3 rounds. Sunday the 24th of July only 2 teams could win the tournament. Those 2 teams where Team HuntWaldo and the FunkyBomb Squad. The other 2 teams where fighting on who would be on 3rd place. Those 2 teams were called Fire Ze Missiles and Aimsir an chogaidh.
That evening we played for a straight hour of gaming and that resulted in the following outcome of the tournament.

1st place Team HuntWaldo with 59 points
  Cpt. T-Bone
  Cutthroat
  Protodroid

2nd place team Funky Bomb Squad with 39 points

The winners of this tournament were rewarded the TAW Tournament medal.

The members that have been here all the time were rewarded the TAW extended campaign medal.

All the members that had part in organizing the the tournament have been awarded the TAW outstanding volunteer medal.

And we were proud to have one dedicated member on that team that did a lot of the work. From discussing on which game we would play to spreading the word about the tournament during practices of the divisions. Therefore Fraulein from Team Fortress has received the excellence.

Warmest regards,

Your TAW@WAR III Team
