In the Scope

This month being my first as editor of the newsletter I decided I would take a look back onto how I came to be in TAW by interviewing the person who invited me into the clan.
Below is the result of that interview. Id like to thank you for reading and hopefully it will be rather enjoyable now and in the future.

"Putting Community First"

Q.) Can you please start by giving us your rank, name, and division/position?

A.)  My name is Nesfero and I am a Second Lieutenant in the Team Fortress Division as an Staff Officer(4TH).

Q.) Thinking back, what drew you to TAW?

A.) Well when i first saw the TAW website I was impressed with how organized and uniform the structure of the community was. I liked communities that had an atmosphere of regularity to them. That made it so that we wouldn't drift apart due to no mandatory contact with each other.

Q.) What was your first impression of TAW?

A.) At first I did not know what to expect with the big number of people that were in TAW but I grew to like the number of people I could have fun with.

Q.) Tell us about the people you have met in TAW.

A.) Well, the first group of people I met in TAW were my fellow officers Armony, Shadowmage, Eriopolis, and Dasniper.
They were very welcoming when i first joined and made it feel as though i was joining a big family.

Q.) What's the best/worst thing to happen since you started working with TAW?

A.)  I think that the best thing to happen since i started working in TAW was my promotion to Staff Officer. I can now help out the new recruits to our division the same way I was welcomed when i first joined TAW. The worst thing to happen to me since I joined TAW was when Valve decided to update the game when we were in the middle of practice.

Q.) If you could change one thing about TAW, what would it be?

A.) If I could change one thing about TAW I would probably add more than one TAW Wide Tournament a year for the people who cannot attend the usual one.

Q.) Who are you outside of TAW? What do you do in your life?

A.) Outside of TAW Im a student who has a passion for Game Design and the theatre and I am Studying Computer Science and Singing

Q.) The interest in TAW seems to be growing Why do you think that is?

A.)  I think the interest in TAW is growing because of word of mouth, but also because our reputation as a solid gaming community has spread thanks to our abundance of members.

Q.) What would you say are some of your strongest beliefs about TAW?

A.) I believe that we have one of the best communities of gamers in the entire world. Everyone applies themselves to help improve TAW and there is always someone willing to play any game with you at any time.

Q.) Where do you see yourself and TAW in 3 months? 6? 1 year? 5 years?

A.) In 3 months I would see myself in the position I am currently in as Staff Officer. In 6 months I think I might be looking into becoming in charge of the TF division. In 1 year I would probably still be doing what i normally do in my position. And in 5 years I would hope that Valve came out with Team Fortress 3 so we could have the Division exist forever

I would like to again thank 2LT Nesfero [TF 4SO] for taking time out of his busy day to allow me to interview him. I would aslo like to thank you the readers for taking your time to read the interview of this outstanding TAW member.
